Parts Gallery in Leslieville is hosting a series of paintings from superb artist Judith Geher until May 15.

A series of 6 intimate studies flanked by a pair of large oil paintings make for a fresh exhibition to welcome a long awaited spring. Geher continues to push her investigation into the aesthetic qualities of colour and texture accomplished by oil paint and the representation of femininity in contemporary culture.

Bio

Judith Geher was born in Toronto, Ontario. As a child she loved drawing. Judith went to the University of Toronto, School of Architecture, were she was exposed to fantastic: ways of thinking, theories and processes. These years culminated in a magical synthesis of disciplines as she continued to pursue and explore drawing, sculpture and photography that would, in turn, inform projects in the architecture studio.
